Lick Creek Acres History
Lick Creek Acres
Lick Creek Acres was founded in 2006. I wanted to make more out of animals than just a hobby. I
enjoy training them, breeding them, selling them, trading them, and learning about them. My little
farm started out with 1 doe, Ruby. 2 Horses, Cadillac & Penny. 6 Chickens, 1 Rooster, 2 Geese, 4
cats and 2 Jack Russell Terriers.
Needless to say, I just wanted more... To date I have a total of 34 additional goats, 5 horses, 2 of
which I am training from scratch, and so far so good!! 20 Hens, 1 rooster, 2 additional goose, 3 cats,
2 Jack Russel, 1 Turkey and a Great Pyrenees to watch over everyone.
I love it! I just want more and more. I have enjoyed learning about all these animals, mostly the
goats. They are just so enjoyable to watch and study. I have learned so much in the last year. I even
have people asking me for advice, that's where I got the idea to market my knowledge, my goats, and
my trading skills.
If I don't have what you are looking for, just tell me what you want and I can more than likely find it at a
reasonable rate. The challenge is the best part. I enjoy the hard work and dedication it takes to
research and find the answers to the questions people have.
The LCA vision...
My short term goal as a goat farmer is to keep my herd healthy and produce quality show and meat
goats. My long term goal as a goat farmer is to maintain my short term goal, while building a
reputation for high quality goats.
Future Plans:
I am starting a traveling petting zoo. I have begun to branch out so that I have many different goat
breeds to offer to people. I have pygmy, boer, nubian, fainting, and all the mixes in between.
